In addition to his real estate and property tax consulting work, Nick has been a civil litigator in a wide range of real estate, bankruptcy, and consumer matters in several states.

Daniel A. Weiss is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Pre-eminent rated lawyer who brings more than 35 years of city, county and local government law experience to Property Tax Adjustments and Appeals, P.A.
Dan represented the taxing and zoning authorities of Miami-Dade County in administrative matters, litigation and appeals between 1981 and 1995 as an Assistant County Attorney; he also served as head of the appeals section in the County Attorney’s Office. Dan served as Legal Special Master for the Miami-Dade County Value Adjustment Board from 1999-2000, and has represented municipalities and taxpayers in tax assessment, classification, exemption and collection matters since 1997.
Dan has more than 70 published opinions to his credit, including 55 property tax opinions, is co-author of Chapter 64 of the Florida Tax Service 2d, “Agriculture and other Classified Properties” published by Matthew Bender, and has been a lecturer for the National Business Institute and a media consultant on property taxation.
Dan is actively involved in the community as a Board Member of the Miami Beach Bar Association and the Miami Beach Community Development Corporation.
